Lebanon faces frequent electric outages. Our industrial client relies currently on diesel to generate himself the electricity and heat necessary to its process. In order to avoid a fuel dependence, our client wishes to develop a solar thermodynamic plant and, as this project reduces greenhouse gas emissions and requires heavy investments and involves significant technological risks, he wishes to benefit from carbon finance within Clean Development Mechanism framework.
We assist our client in the project financial analysis, in the carbon credits generation process and in their commercialization. An overall of roughly 150 000tCO2e reduction should be generated during the project lifetime.
